Shift Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Hours can be a little more flexible once training is complete.
Compensation:
- $20.19 starting pay. Will have a review with potential increase once hired on.
Summary:
Accountable for account manager to key customers. Be a single point of contact for following customer accounts which have a history of regular business. The primary duty involves generating leads, based on internet research, market research and cold call list. An Inside Sales Representative will act as a liaison between the Customer Service department and Outside Sales department.
Expectations:
Customer communication, social media communication and networking, account management, sample management financial follow up and identifying new business. This position requires 30% of travel within US and Canada.
Organizational knowledge:
Ability to develop technical and commercial knowledge
Primary contact with customers on payment follow-ups Business Development and Strategy
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts consistent with business strategy; soliciting new accounts through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails; building rapport with potential customers.
Provide effective Technical information/ Application notes to prospective customers
Learn about opportunities for product development & application development. Tracking of all hand sheet samples and trial rolls.
As needed communication with customers
Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history; suggesting related and new items.
Allocation of A2 and Imported stock, as well as monitoring of Make/ Hold programs and Consignment programs
Coordinate with Sales team on the overall sales and marketing approach for the focus regions
Work aggressively to secure new business and product opportunities.
Research and analyze market trends to include end use applications, requirements, pricing, usage, etc., and provide recommendations based on research and analysis to management on both the short and long-term direction of market trends
Build strong relationships within the organization with Planning, Manufacturing, R& D and Quality Assurance to insure that the customer’s expectations are being met
Organizing sales events (tradeshows, seminars, etc.); creating and ordering promotional materials (brochures, giveaways, merchandise, etc.)
Create and maintain content for digital marketing (email blast, social media networks, etc.)
