SUMMARY

Responsible for the production output including basic repair, cleaning, and troubleshooting of basic machine faults. Ability to work quickly to maintain high production levels and know when to escalate problems with the machine to supervisors. Operate the equipment in a safe manner with quality and safety in mind.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, IPA, cloths, vacuum and other appliances

Ensure line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands

Quickly address machine faults and alarms and resolve them quickly

Report any issues requiring a technician to the line supervisor

Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects

Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations for adjustment

Help equipment technicians repair the equipment if needed

Help other operators during breaktimes and flexibility to cover other work areas

Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions

Adhere to the policies and procedures.

Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

Requirements:

HSD/GED required

Resume required

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Basic knowledge of manufacturing process

Able to cope with pressure and be a team player

Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed

Machine Operators & Programmers

Now hiring Machine Operators and Programmers for an electronic connector manufacturing facility serving the Guntersville/Arab area. We have 1st and 2nd shift openings available with starting pay of $15-$17 per hour, based on experience, skills, and shift placement. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with overtime including Saturdays required at times. 1st shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 2nd shift hours are 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

In this role, team members will support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by operating production equipment, monitoring quality, completing line changeovers, and helping ensure electronic connectors are produced safely and efficiently to customer specifications. Programmers will also assist with machine setup, parameter adjustments, troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate production settings for automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment used in the production of electronic connectors.
• Set up machines at the beginning of each shift and perform changeovers as needed.
• Load materials, inspect parts, and verify finished products meet quality and production standards.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate maintenance concerns when needed.
• Program or enter machine settings according to work instructions, production schedules, and product specifications.
• Complete production logs, scrap reports, and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work closely with supervisors, quality, and maintenance teams to support daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Job Description: Warehouse Worker (Automotive Parts) Tugger experience required

Location: Madison, AL | Shift: 2nd | Pay: $18.20/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to support an incoming and outgoing automotive parts operation in Madison, Alabama. This role is responsible for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping parts while maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receive inbound automotive parts and verify counts, part numbers, and condition against paperwork/system.

Label, sort, and stock parts to assigned locations (put-away) and maintain organized storage areas.

Pick orders accurately using pick lists or RF scanner; stage orders for outbound shipments.

Pack and prepare shipments; apply labels and documentation per shipping requirements.

Load/unload trucks using pallet jack, cart, or forklift (if certified/assigned).

Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control; report discrepancies promptly.

Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all warehouse safety procedures (PPE, lifting, equipment use).

Support general warehouse tasks as needed, including returns processing and basic housekeeping.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Ability to read labels, part numbers, and shipping documents accurately.

Basic math skills and attention to detail for counting and verifying inventory.

Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift either a 3:30p-12am or 7pm-3:30a

Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with daily production goals.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or automotive parts experience.

Experience using RF scanners/WMS systems.

Forklift experience and/or certification (sit-down or stand-up) a plus.

Knowledge of common automotive part types and packaging standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Job Description: Warehouse Worker (Automotive Parts) Tugger experience required

Location: Madison, AL | Shift: 2nd | Pay: $18.20/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to support an incoming and outgoing automotive parts operation in Madison, Alabama. This role is responsible for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping parts while maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities
Receive inbound automotive parts and verify counts, part numbers, and condition against paperwork/system.
Label, sort, and stock parts to assigned locations (put-away) and maintain organized storage areas.
Pick orders accurately using pick lists or RF scanner; stage orders for outbound shipments.
Pack and prepare shipments; apply labels and documentation per shipping requirements.
Load/unload trucks using pallet jack, cart, or forklift (if certified/assigned).
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control; report discrepancies promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all warehouse safety procedures (PPE, lifting, equipment use).
Support general warehouse tasks as needed, including returns processing and basic housekeeping.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Ability to read labels, part numbers, and shipping documents accurately.
Basic math skills and attention to detail for counting and verifying inventory.
Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift either a 3:30p-12am or 7pm-3:30a
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with daily production goals.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or automotive parts experience.
Experience using RF scanners/WMS systems.
Forklift experience and/or certification (sit-down or stand-up) a plus.
Knowledge of common automotive part types and packaging standards.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and around moving equipment.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay rate is $18.20/hour. Schedule is 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 2nd shift either a 3:30p-12am or 7pm-3:30am Overtime could be required including Saturdays

Sub-Arc Welder - 1st Shift

Personnel Staffing, Inc. is hiring a Sub-Arc Welder for a fabrication company in Decatur, Alabama. This is a 1st shift opportunity with overtime required at times based on production and business needs. Pay is based on experience and will be determined during the interview process.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform submerged arc welding on fabricated metal components according to blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications.
• Use GTAW and FCAW processes as required for fit-up, root passes, weld repairs, or production welding applications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, wire feeders, and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect materials and completed welds to verify conformance to quality standards and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld procedures, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces before welding, including grinding, fitting, and positioning materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety procedures and welding best practices.
• Work with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and maintain workmanship standards.
• Assist with additional fabrication and welding-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with submerged arc welding required.
