Part-Time Temporary Receptionist
Position Type: Part-Time, Short-Term Temporary Position to Cover Maternity Leave
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Location: Albertville/Guntersville area
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Temporary Receptionist to provide short-term office support while covering maternity leave. This role is responsible for completing clerical and administrative tasks that help keep daily office operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, comfortable answering phones, and able to manage multiple office duties with accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner and direct calls as needed.
- Post time and materials accurately to jobs.
- Maintain office files and records in an organized manner.
- Accurately record and maintain employee time information.
- Assist estimators with clerical or administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets with accurate information.
- Assist with company credit card tracking, documentation, and related records.
- Support general office organization and daily administrative needs.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by office management.
Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, clerical, or administrative office experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and recordkeeping.
- Professional phone etiquette and good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for the temporary assignment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee, job, and company information.
Work Environment
This position is office-based and requires regular interaction with office staff, management, callers, and visitors. The receptionist should be comfortable working in a professional office setting and supporting multiple administrative needs during the day.
