Essential Functions:

·        Makes delivery appointments for inbound shipments.

·        Processing PO and receiving documents and receives into computer.

·        Prints edits and reviews for accuracy prior to final update.

·        Scans MTR into imaging system.

·        May order office or plant supplies under direction from GM or OM. 

·        Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Job Requirements:

·        Basic reading and writing comprehension in English (to read instructions, tickets, safety and policies manuals)

·        Minimum of 1-2 years experience with document processing software on a computer.

·        Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals, fractions and weights.

·        Good communications skills (both oral and written)

·        Good telephone skills (answer promptly, pleasantly and professionally)

·        Ability to work with minimum supervision

·        Must exercise a reasonable degree of judgment and possess the ability to recognize appropriate company procedures and policies that apply to each situation and follow them.

·        Must work with both Sales and Operations to coordinate material pick up, deliveries and assist with arranging transportation of direct shipments to customers.

Required experience:

•             High School Diploma (Required)

•             Tire Cord and Carpet Manufacturing processes

•             Experience with plant Quality and Safety Systems

•             Worked in Union environment

•             Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

•             Good oral and written communication skills

•             Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and 14000 requirements

•             Good Knowledge of process controls and computer systems

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

 Vision, hearing, and speech are required.  Manual dexterity is necessary.  Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled.
