Hours:

Duties include:

•            Works in a team environment and is responsible for supporting the routine operations of at least one production line. This role is responsible for prepping and packaging the product for transit, keeping an accurate count of the product produced on the shift, monitoring quality and maintaining an organized safe work area.  Associate may also perform basic machine operation to support production line.

Requirements include:

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Attention to detail.
• Bending, Stooping, Twisting.
• Working in fast-paced environment.
• Work well with others.

Required experience:

High School diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in manufacturing environment highly desired.

Able to lift boxes, tooling and other objects as needed.

Production Associate – Insulation Manufacturing

Decatur, AL | 1st & 2nd Shift Openings | Starting Pay: $16/hr

Job Summary

We are hiring Production Associates for an insulation manufacturing facility in Decatur, Alabama. This is a labor-intensive production role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a facility that is not climate controlled and can become very hot, especially during warmer months.

This position is ideal for dependable candidates who are safety-minded, able to perform physical work throughout the shift, and willing to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Perform production work related to insulation manufacturing.
• Assist with moving, handling, and preparing materials throughout the production area.
• Follow work instructions and meet daily production expectations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work as part of a team to support production goals.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs independently.
• Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be comfortable working in a hot, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required, including Saturdays.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work safely in a production environment.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not required.

Work Environment

This role is performed in an active insulation manufacturing facility. The work is physically demanding and may involve extended periods of standing, lifting, and repetitive movement. The facility is not climate controlled and can be very hot, so candidates must be prepared for warm working conditions.

Compensation

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities available based on business needs.
