SUMMARY

Responsible for the production output including basic repair, cleaning, and troubleshooting of basic machine faults. Ability to work quickly to maintain high production levels and know when to escalate problems with the machine to supervisors. Operate the equipment in a safe manner with quality and safety in mind.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, IPA, cloths, vacuum and other appliances

Ensure line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands

Quickly address machine faults and alarms and resolve them quickly

Report any issues requiring a technician to the line supervisor

Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects

Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations for adjustment

Help equipment technicians repair the equipment if needed

Help other operators during breaktimes and flexibility to cover other work areas

Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions

Adhere to the policies and procedures.

Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

Requirements:

HSD/GED required

Resume required

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Basic knowledge of manufacturing process

Able to cope with pressure and be a team player

Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed

Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction

Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards by designing control systems, inspecting materials, and analyzing performance. They conduct root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with teams to improve manufacturing efficiency. 

Duties include:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, inspection criteria, and test plans to ensure product consistency.
• Perform, oversee, and document inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPA).
• Review manufacturing processes and designs to find opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Ensure all products and processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain high-quaity raw materials and components.
• Prepare, analyze, and present quality reports to management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge with PPAP, APQP and Proficient with MS Office.
• Proactive in identifying potential flaws in products or processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Create and adhere to an approved maintenance budget
  Collaborate with third-party contractors and technicians as needed

• Ensure safety compliance, including training staff on safety measures

  Required experience:

  • Knowledge of commonly used maintenance equipment and materials

  • ​Experience with approved repair and installation techniques for various maintenance procedures, including best practices for HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    Understanding of current safety regulations and protocols

  • Experience creating and managing a budget
    Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and address malfunctions
