• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather.

Operate powered industrial trucks to keep food products moving—received, stored, and shipped—safely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Load/unload trailers and reposition pallets throughout the warehouse with the correct equipment.
• Stack and store inventory; pick and assemble customer orders; label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack per direction.

Summary:

Will be answering phones, handling email correspondence, will be the main contact for customers, handling order entry, and completing yarn inventory.  At times will assist in staging yarn onto carts and for winders to complete.  

Responsibilities

• Customer relations: maintaining good working relationships with all customers, informing customers of order updates, responding to requests/emails in a timely manner.
• Shipping coordination: logistics for all shipments; coordinating with customer requests for both incoming and outgoing.
• Production control: keeping open lines of communication with the lab and Plant Manager about production (orders to be dyed, when approved, to be shipped); scheduling purchase orders, entering orders in DiSys and sending orders to the floor as required.
• Maintain daily with accuracy all changes the Dye and Finishing Scheduling Excel spreadsheet.  Provide the Plant Manager with this schedule three times per week; or when he requests it.
• Inventory management: documenting receipt of yarn lots; keeping record of pulled yarn and dyed yarn; reporting to customers the status of yarn lot balances each month as well as updating specific Customers files on the shared drive as well.
• Maintain daily with accuracy the Yarn Inventory Excel spreadsheet that details orders, pull dates, dye dates, billing information and so forth.  In addition to reviewing PYD’s inventory balances weekly and advising Management if our yarn lots are getting low.
• Pricing Maintenance: Ensuring prices being charged match current price lists; updating customers of any pricing changes.
• Submit completed orders and shipping documentation to Accounting in a timely manner.
• Advising management of any order, inventory or Customer issues when they arise.
• Assist Office Manager as necessary with month-end tasks and general office duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

• HSD/GED required
• Advanced Excel knowledge required including pivot tables (will be tested)
• Inventory experience needed
