Customer Service Reps needed to assist our team with our ERP transition from MSS to SAPS4.  This will be a 6 month assignment located in Huntsville, AL. The primary responsibilities will be manual order entry tasks in SAPS4.

Compensation for General Labor:

·        $23-$25/hour BOE

Responsibilities:

·        Enter orders, manage or escalate any concerns and ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ concerns;

·        Use creativity to design or explore the desired product requested if outside of the norm;

·        Work with price lists and/or other department heads to determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, or arrange for billing;

·        Resolve any billing issues by processing product exchanges and working with accounting department to refund or credit where necessary;

·        Partner with sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure meeting and exceeding customers’ service expectations;

·        Support sales and business development initiatives when new options are available or where it would appropriately support the customer’s needs;

·        Issues credits, sends order acknowledgements and composes letters to customers and potential customers;

·        Communicates with all individuals whose involvement impacts customer communications;

·        Primary point of contact for customers, interpreting and implementing customer instructions for the company to produce custom manufacturing products;

·        Updates customer records;

·        Prepares and sends quotes and provides written proposals to customers and potential customers;

·        Interfaces with Territory Managers and VP of Sales;

·        Other duties as assigned;

·        Assimilates customer credit information and provide to the Assistant Controller;

·        Track shipment status of customer orders.

Required experience:

·        Prior CSR experience needed

·        SAP or SAP S4 experience preferred

Monday - Thursday: 12 hour shifts

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Manual Machinist, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw materials into precision-engineered components. In this hands-on position, you will utilize your skills in machining and mechanical knowledge to create intricate parts while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) milling machines and lathes to produce high-precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
• Must be able to run a Mill and Lathe
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy in machining processes.
• Perform CNC programming and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming to optimize production efficiency.
• Conduct electrical discharge machining as needed for complex parts requiring specialized techniques.
• Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with the engineering team using SolidWorks and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for design modifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.

Basic qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and tooling for various machining tasks.
• Familiarity with plastics injection molding techniques is a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely within the manufacturing environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with coordinate measuring machines for quality assurance checks.
• Knowledge of welding techniques for assembly tasks when required.
• Basic math skills for precise calculations related to measurements and tolerances.
