Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, support product growth, and drive customer engagement across digital, print, and e-commerce channels.

This is a hands-on role responsible for content creation, branding, social media management, e-commerce marketing, product promotion, and Pro Staff program oversight. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, flexibility, and a passion for the outdoors are highly valued. While fishing industry experience is not required, an interest in fishing and outdoor recreation is strongly preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and product sales.
  • Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, retail, and e-commerce channels.
  • Maintain and protect brand consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with leadership, sales, and product development teams to support company growth initiatives and product launches.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets while tracking performance and maximizing return on investment.

Content Creation & Digital Marketing

  • Create and manage digital and print marketing materials, including advertisements, social media content, presentations, email campaigns, catalogs, packaging, and branded assets.
  • Coordinate product photography, video production, and creative content to support product launches, promotions, retailer programs, and social media initiatives.
  • Oversee content calendars and ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across all platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that aligns with brand objectives.
  • Interact with customers, followers, and online communities to strengthen brand engagement and loyalty.
  • Monitor trends, analytics, and audience behavior to improve content performance and reach.

E-Commerce & Website Management

  • Oversee company websites, online stores, and digital integrations to ensure functionality, accuracy, and a positive customer experience.
  • Develop and execute annual e-commerce sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze website traffic, customer behavior, and online sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product listings, content, and merchandising strategies.

Pro Staff & Brand Ambassador Programs

  • Recruit, manage, and maintain relationships with Pro Staff members, influencers, and brand ambassadors.
  • Ensure Pro Staff activities align with company goals, brand standards, and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate content contributions, promotional opportunities, and event participation from sponsored partners.

Events & Trade Shows

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute consumer show activations, dealer meetings, and industry event participation.
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, marketing events, and customer-facing activities.
  • Assist with the development of sales presentations and marketing materials for retail partners and major accounts.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist other departments and warehouse operations when needed to support overall company goals.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining professionalism, accountability, and strong working relationships.
  • Provide occasional graphic design and creative support for affiliated companies and internal projects.
  • Manage projects from concept through completion while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Support customer service efforts by assisting with inquiries and helping maintain a positive brand image.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements

  • Marketing-related travel is typically 2–4 weeks per year.
  • Travel may include weekends, extended work hours, outdoor environments, and varying weather conditions.
  • Occasional attendance at trade shows, industry events, consumer expos, and dealer meetings is required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify and e-commerce platform management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and achieve goals in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer products, outdoor recreation, sporting goods, lifestyle brands, or e-commerce marketing.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, email marketing, SEO, and social media analytics.
  • Photography, videography, and content creation experience.
  • Interest in fishing, boating, outdoor recreation, or related industries.
  • Experience managing influencer, ambassador, or sponsored-athlete programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
