Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Fabricator assists with forming raw materials into finished parts using specialized fabrication equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to use basic measuring tools, and a commitment to producing quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Form raw materials using specialized equipment such as press brakes, plate shears, and plate rolls.
- Measure and verify dimensions using basic tools such as a tape measure and degree finder.
- Read and follow custom drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow shop procedures and safety guidelines while meeting production expectations.
- Assist with material handling and general fabrication tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret custom drawings or blueprints.
- Forklift experience is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials in a shop environment.
Work Environment
This position works in a fabrication shop setting and may require standing, lifting, and working around metal materials and industrial equipment throughout the shift.
