About the Opportunity

PSI is hiring Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Huntsville, AL. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality, and are ready to build experience with CNC equipment, precision measuring tools, and production support tasks.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs

Pay

$22.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machines and mills to support production requirements.
• Inspect parts for quality using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection methods.
• Monitor machines during operation and check parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Operate a laser marker and support marking requirements as needed.
• Saw slugs for low-volume jobs and change out saw blades when required.
• Stage completed parts for the next process, including parts washing, inspection, and FGR.
• Prepare parts for subcontract work and receive, verify, and stage subcontract parts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all company safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn.
• Quality inspection experience preferred.
• Experience using calipers and micrometers required.
• CNC machine operator experience required.
• Machine setup experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and stay detail-focused in a production environment.
• Steel-toe shoes are required.
